Women carrying beef beaten up by Hindu radical group in MP

Bhopal: On Tuesday, activists of a Hindu group assaulted two Muslim women in Madhya Pradesh for supposedly carrying beef.

As per reports of a leading news channel, the two women were thrashed at MP’s Mandasaur Railway Station by the activists of Hindu Dal. Also, ­­­­­­­the two women were assaulted after they were detained by the police.

The police were secretly informed that the Muslim women were carrying beef and they had taken the beef from Jaora to sell it in Mandsaur. A video has gone viral on the social media which shows that the crowd had cornered the women before abusing and thrashing her.

Also, the police tried to stop the crowd but failed to control it.

The police have recovered 30 kgs of meat from the women and an examination of the meat by the doctors confirmed that it was beef. The women have been sent into judicial custody.

No action has been taken against the men who thrashed the women.
