Yahoo’s internet business to be sold to Verizon for $4.8 bn

New York: Verizon Communications is set to acquire Yahoo’s below par core internet business for about $4.8 billion.

Verizon Communications is the largest US wireless communications service provider and by this accusation they will also get Yahoo’s online assets including search, mail and instant messaging.
